iOS 27 Siri Syncs Your Digital Planner (Finally!)

Quick Answer

Yes. iOS 27's Siri can now compare your Key2Success Digital Planner against your iPhone Calendar, add any missing appointments automatically, and push your daily to-do list straight into the Reminders app with due times attached, closing the gap between planning and scheduling for the first time.

iOS 27 finally answers the question Branden Bodendorfer says he's heard for nearly 15 years: can a calendar and a digital planner actually sync? With Siri built into iOS 27, the Key2Success Digital Planner can now be compared directly against your iPhone Calendar, and your planner's to-do list can be pushed straight into Reminders with due times attached. This video walks through exactly how that iOS 27 Siri digital planner sync works, plus how Siri can explain any page in the Key2Success system on demand.

Branden records this walkthrough on his own iPad in OneNote, using his real September 2026 planner pages, so every example is a live demo rather than a staged screen recording. He asks Siri to check his Friday, September 11th appointments against his calendar, and Siri catches a football game and a workout missing from the calendar, plus a vendor meeting that overlapped with another commitment already on the books. He also has Siri walk him through the Professional Builder page and pull up the exact training video that maps it out in real time.

After watching, you'll know how to ask Siri to reconcile your Key2Success Planner with your iPhone Calendar, how to turn a written to-do list into scheduled Reminders with real due times, and how to use Siri as an on-demand coach for any page in the planner system, without having to dig through a training library first.

I've waited nearly 15 years for this moment, and the new iOS 27 unlocks a handful of features that really takes digital planning to an entirely new level. One of the most common questions that I get asked is, "Branden, can my calendar sync with my planner?" See, for so long, for so many, we've used both calendars and planners, and we've had different intentions for them. When I think of a calendar, I think of electronic scheduler. It's really a place where others can plug in, can look at my availability, they can select times to meet with me, I can select times to meet with others and put that in my schedule. I can also link up Zoom meetings and team meetings and have that all kind of filter into my schedule. But the reality is, in those blocks of time, I don't have focus. I don't know what's qualifying that activity as important. I don't have the ability to plan out what I want to achieve in that dedicated time period. And that's where planning comes in. Planning is when you take ownership of your schedule and make sure the things that matter most, the priorities, the action steps that are going to help you see the vision, come to the front.

But there's a friction point that takes place with both of these, and so many of you guys identified that from time to time it's difficult to run a schedule and have a plan and plan out your schedule. Well, today we have a way that Apple iOS 27 kind of bridges that and brings it together, and it does it seamlessly, and I'm so excited to share this with you. But before I do that, there's a number of other features that I want to introduce that are also going to reduce a whole lot of friction.

First and foremost, one of the biggest things that so many people ask me about the system is, "Branden, I need to know what it looks like in 3 to 4 years. I have big goals and ambitions, and I've had these goals and these ambitions for a long time, but each week I struggle to make a dent in the opportunity." And this Professional Builder, this one-page business plan, does that. But I'm not sitting right next to you to help you through this. But Siri is. Let's ask her: "Hey Siri, can you help me understand how Branden Bodendorfer would recommend I use this page?" Siri responds with a full breakdown of the Professional Builder page, its Vision and Goals section, Key Boulders and Resources, and Key Values and Vitals, then offers to pull up the exact training video where Branden maps out the page in real time.

From there, Branden asks Siri to compare his Key2Success Planner against his iPhone Calendar for the next day. Siri catches a football game and a workout written in the planner but missing from the calendar, a "Standard Install" appointment on the calendar but not written in the planner, and a vendor meeting that overlaps with another commitment already on the books. Siri offers to add the missing items directly to the calendar.

Later in the video, Branden asks Siri to schedule his day's to-do list items as Reminders, including a task with a hard 3 p.m. deadline. Siri confirms and schedules the reminders automatically. Branden closes by noting that the Key2Success Digital Planner system works across OneNote, GoodNotes, Notability, and other note-taking apps, syncing across Apple, Windows, and Android devices, and teases an upcoming video on using a pocket stylus with the iPhone for on-the-go planning.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can the Key2Success Planner sync with my iPhone Calendar in iOS 27?

Yes. With iOS 27, Siri can compare every appointment written in your Key2Success Planner against your iPhone Calendar, flag anything missing on either side, and add the gaps for you. Branden Bodendorfer demonstrates this by asking Siri to check his planner against his calendar for the next day and having Siri add a missing football game and workout directly to his schedule.

What's the difference between a calendar and a planner?

A calendar like the iPhone Calendar is built for scheduling: availability, meetings, and Zoom links others can see and book. A planner like the Key2Success Planner is built for focus: deciding what matters most in each block of time and mapping out the action steps to get there. iOS 27 is the first update that lets the two work together instead of forcing you to keep them separate.

Can Siri explain how to use a specific page in the Key2Success Planner?

Yes. Branden Bodendorfer shows Siri answering a direct question about the Professional Builder page, walking through each section, including vision and goals, key boulders and resources, and key values and vitals, then pulling up the exact YouTube training video where Branden maps out that page in real time.

Can I turn my Key2Success to-do list into Apple Reminders?

Yes. In iOS 27, Siri can take the to-do items written in your Key2Success Planner and schedule them directly in the Reminders app, including due times for anything time-sensitive. In the video, Branden Bodendorfer asks Siri to schedule his day's to-dos, and Siri sets a 3 p.m. reminder for a specific task automatically.

Does the Key2Success Planner work with GoodNotes and Notability?

Yes. The Key2Success Digital Planner system is built to work across GoodNotes, Notability, OneNote, and several other note-taking apps, and it syncs across Apple, Windows, and Android devices, not just iPhone and iPad.

Do I need a specific iPad or iPhone model to use these iOS 27 Siri planner features?

You need a device that supports iOS 27's on-device Apple Intelligence features, which generally means a recent iPad or iPhone model, plus the Key2Success Planner open in a compatible app like OneNote, GoodNotes, or Notability. Older devices can still use the planner itself; they just won't have access to the Siri calendar and Reminders sync shown in this video.

Does the Siri planner sync work offline?

No. Comparing your planner to your Calendar or scheduling items in Reminders requires an active internet or cellular connection, since Siri is checking live data in both apps. You can still write in your Key2Success Planner offline; you'll just need connectivity when you ask Siri to sync it.

Will Siri edit or overwrite what I've already written in my planner?

No. Siri only reads your handwritten or typed planner content to compare it against your Calendar and Reminders. It adds missing items to your Calendar or Reminders app on your confirmation; it does not alter your planner pages themselves.

Can I use these Siri planner features on the Windows or Android versions of the Key2Success Planner?

The Siri integration shown in this video is an Apple-only feature tied to iOS 27, so it works when the Key2Success Planner is open on an iPad or iPhone. The planner itself still works on Windows and Android through GoodNotes, Notability, and OneNote, but without the Siri calendar and Reminders sync.

Your Next Steps

  1. Update to iOS 27 on your iPad and iPhone, then confirm Siri and Apple Intelligence are turned on in Settings.
  2. Open your Key2Success Planner in OneNote, GoodNotes, or Notability and ask Siri to compare tomorrow's planner appointments against your iPhone Calendar.
  3. Ask Siri to schedule your day's to-do list items into Reminders, calling out anything with a hard deadline.
  4. If you don't have the current Key2Success Planner loaded yet, grab it so you're working from the same page layout shown in this video.
