Key2Success iOS 27 AI Planning Hub: Every Siri Feature for Your Digital Planner
By Branden Bodendorfer | Published September 17, 2026
iOS 27 lets Siri read your Key2Success Digital Planner, compare it against your iPhone Calendar to catch missing appointments, explain any page in the system on demand, and turn your written to-do list into Apple Reminders with due times attached, closing a gap between planning and scheduling that has existed for nearly 15 years.
I've waited nearly 15 years for a calendar and a planner to actually work together, and iOS 27 is the first update that does it. Most people treat their calendar and their planner as the same job done twice: write the appointment, then write it again somewhere else, or skip the second write and let the two drift apart. That gap between what you planned and what's actually on your schedule is where things get missed. iOS 27 closes it, and this hub is where I'm documenting every feature as I build it into how I use the Key2Success Digital Planner myself.
Here's my position on this, and it's more contrarian than it sounds: most digital planning advice right now is obsessed with adding more AI features to the planner itself, smart templates, auto-generated goals, that kind of thing. I think that's the wrong problem. The planner doesn't need to get smarter. It needs to stop requiring manual duplication into the tools you already use every day, your Calendar and your Reminders app. iOS 27's Siri integration is valuable precisely because it doesn't change what the Key2Success Planner is. It just removes the busywork around it.
I record every demo in this hub on my own iPad in OneNote, using my real planner pages for that week, not staged screen recordings. In my first full test, Siri compared my Friday planner page against my iPhone Calendar and caught a football game and a workout I'd written down but never added to my calendar, plus a vendor meeting that overlapped with something already booked. That's not a hypothetical. That's a real scheduling conflict I would have walked into.

What Changed in iOS 27
For as long as calendars and planners have existed side by side, they've served different jobs. A calendar is a scheduler: availability, meetings, links others can book. A planner is where you decide what actually matters in that time and map out the steps to get there. iOS 27 doesn't merge those jobs. It just lets Siri move information between them so you're not doing that translation by hand.
Siri Syncs Your Planner with Your Calendar
This is the feature I get asked about most, and it's the centerpiece of the full walkthrough video linked below. With your planner page open, ask Siri to check it against your Calendar for that day or the next one. It reads what's written, checks it against your Calendar, and tells you what's out of sync.
Siri Explains Any Planner Page
The Professional Builder, a one-page business plan inside the system, is one of the pages people ask about most, especially the Vision and Goals, Key Boulders and Resources, and Key Values and Vitals sections. Ask Siri directly and it responds with a full breakdown, then offers to pull up the training video where I map out that page in real time. It's an on-demand coach for a page you might otherwise need a video library to understand.
Turn Your To-Do List into Reminders
Ask Siri to schedule your day's to-do list, and it moves each item into Reminders, setting a due time automatically for anything with a hard deadline. In my own test, I asked Siri to schedule a task with a 3 p.m. cutoff, and Reminders had it set before I'd typed a single word into the app myself.
How to Turn This On
The full setup, confirmed against a real device including the exact Settings labels on iOS 27, is in the setup guide linked below. It takes about ten minutes the first time and only needs to be repeated once per device.
What's Coming Next
Two features are in development and will be added to this hub as they publish. The first is an iPhone and Apple Pencil workflow for planning on the go, without needing the iPad in hand. The second is expanded OneNote-specific Siri behavior beyond what's covered here. Neither is demoed yet, so neither is linked as a guide below until there's a real walkthrough to show.
Works Across Your Devices
Everything in this hub assumes an iPad or iPhone, since Siri's planner-reading behavior is an Apple Intelligence feature tied to iOS 27. The planner itself is not Apple-exclusive. It's used in more than 52 countries across GoodNotes, Notability, and OneNote, on Apple, Windows, and Android. If you're on a different platform, the planner works the same; you just won't have the Siri layer described here.

Coming soonFrequently Asked Questions
What does iOS 27 change for the Key2Success Digital Planner?
iOS 27 lets Siri read your Key2Success Planner directly, compare it against your iPhone Calendar to catch missing appointments, explain any page in the system on demand, and push your written to-do list into Apple Reminders with due times attached.
Do I need a new iPad or iPhone to use these features?
You need a device that supports iOS 27's on-device Apple Intelligence features, generally a recent iPad or iPhone model. Older devices can still run the Key2Success Planner itself, just without the Siri sync features.
Which apps does the Key2Success Planner work in?
OneNote, GoodNotes, and Notability, syncing across Apple, Windows, and Android devices. The iOS 27 Siri features described in this hub are Apple-only and require the planner to be open on an iPad or iPhone.
Can Siri edit what I've written in my planner?
No. Siri reads your planner content to compare it against Calendar and Reminders, and adds missing items to those apps with your confirmation. It does not alter your planner pages themselves.
Does the Siri sync work offline?
No. Comparing your planner to Calendar or scheduling Reminders requires an active internet or cellular connection, since Siri checks live data in both apps. You can still write in your planner offline.
Can Siri explain how to use a specific planner page?
Yes. Ask Siri about a page, such as the Professional Builder, and it walks through each section and can pull up the exact training video that maps out that page.
How do I turn my to-do list into Reminders?
With your planner page open and Siri set up, ask Siri to schedule your day's to-do items into Reminders, naming anything with a fixed deadline so Siri sets a due time.
What's still coming for iOS 27 and the Key2Success Planner?
An iPhone and Apple Pencil workflow for on-the-go planning is in development, along with expanded OneNote-specific Siri behavior. Both will be added to this hub as they publish.
Is this an Apple feature or a Key2Success feature?
Both, working together. Apple Intelligence and Siri are Apple's on-device AI features in iOS 27. The Key2Success Digital Planner is the content Siri reads and acts on. Neither company builds the other's product; the two simply work together on a supported device.
Will Siri catch every appointment mismatch between my planner and calendar?
Siri compares what's written and visible on your planner page against your Calendar for the period you ask about. It can only act on what it can read, so keep the specific day or week page open and fully visible when you ask.
Does this replace the need to plan on paper or in a notebook?
No. The Key2Success system is still built around the planning process itself, deciding what matters and mapping the steps to get there. iOS 27 removes the manual busywork of syncing that plan to your calendar and reminders, it doesn't replace the planning.
Where do I start if I'm new to the Key2Success Digital Planner?
Start with the current planner in OneNote, GoodNotes, or Notability, get the setup steps for Siri from the guide linked in this hub, then use the video walkthroughs linked here to see the features in action.
