Hummingbird Rescue in Wisconsin

When I first heard about the hummingbirds my neighbor Gwen has rescued, I was instantly interested in seeing one for myself. She told us a handful of stories about how she has cared for them and brought them back to health so they could migrate home.

Through our conversations, I told her next time, please let me know.

Tonight, my wife and I were getting the kids ready for bed, it’s their first day of school tomorrow. Correction my wife was getting the kids to bed. My daughter wanted some help finding a book to read, when coming back in the living room, my wife told me she got a text from Gwen.

It wasn’t more than a minutes later, I was on my way over to her house.
