ReMarkable announced a new chapter today with the release of Software version 3.0 (Beta). Key2Success digital planner users on reMarkable will soon have access to new features. The new release features improved pages, an upgraded writing experience, and enhanced collaboration options. For the first time, users will be able to mix typed text with handwriting on reMarkable, save converted handwritten notes to the device, and rotate content from portrait to landscape mode.

Users who have opted into Beta releases are currently in the process of testing these features. Once perfected, they will be made available to all reMarkable users. As digital planners, we’re most excited about the new writing features! You’ll be able to use the on-screen keyboard to write in a clear typeface in three different sizes for adding titles, sub-headings, and bullet points to notes.

Saving and converting notes will also be easier, according to ReMarkable. Documents are now scaled to fit the display on your device, making them appear true to size. This provides extra space in the margins for adding notes.
